  • “Social deduction game”
  • Goal is to gain the most points by correctly identifying the surveillant(s)
  • All identities are hidden, must use clues and questions to identify players’ roles

    How to play

    General Rules

  • Game has 2 rounds
  • 4-8 players, 1-3 surveillants, 1 master
  • Matser will private message each player's identity
  • At the end of 2 rounds, players announce their points to determine the winner(s)

    • Observation section (time limit: 15s - 45s accroding to the number of players)

  • Find your background image according to the identity you are assigned
  • Turn off your camera, change virtual background
  • Don't turn on the camera before the observation section starts
  • Observe other players’ virtual backgrounds to determine who is a surveillant
  • You can pin someone's video when observing
  • Turn camera off after time limit has expired

    • Discussion section (time limit: 5-15 mins)

  • Players turn mics on and discuss who they think is a surveillant
  • Surveillants must try to hide their identity

    • Answer section

  • Players send the name(s) of who they think is the surveillant as a private message to the master, who will reply if their answer is correct
  • If your answer is correct- you get 2 points in round 1, or 1 point in round 2
  • You must keep track of your points

  • You are not allowed to participate in the discussion
  • 1-3 surveillants per game (number is up to you)
  • Lead the game, set timer

    Those who are surveillants will typically have

  • virtual backgrounds that have the Point-of-View of a security camera (elevated)
  • Be seen viewing other individuals

    • Those who are citizens will typically have

  • virtual backgrounds that have The Point-of-View of an average height (not-elevated)

    • You can use your body to block important clues in the background
